BSA Lifeguard Training Fall 08 Camp Echockotee

The North Florida Council Aquatics Committee is offering a BSA Lifeguard Training starting this Wednesday October 29 at 5:30 pm.  Having a youth or adult trained as a BSA Lifeguard gives you many additional opportunities for swimming and boating  at our council camps and other locations. Space is very limited so review the following information and email your reservation as instructed today.  

Wednesday, October 29, 2008  5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Saturday November 1, 2008  9:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Sunday November 2, 2008  1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Wednesday November 5, 2008 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Thursday November 6, 2008 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Saturday November 8, 2008  9:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Sunday November 9, 2008  1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Wednesday November 12, 2008 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Participants must be able to complete the BSA swim test

Open to registered adults, Venturers, and Scouts at least First Class

Prerequisites:

Be at least 14 years of age

Swim continuously for 550 yards using at least the following strokes:

front crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke

Limited to the first 12 participants on a first come first served basis
